4-H Cloverbuds Club

(Youth Ages 5-8)

The Montgomery County 4-H Cloverbuds Club

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer leader for the Cloverbuds, contact the Extension Office at 498-8741 and ask to speak with Charles Comer, Extension 4-H Youth Development Agent.

This club works with novice youth. These youth are not old enough to be 4-H’ers but are interested in participating in 4-H Activities. Some activities that these youth like to be involved in learning about include wildlife, air, water, wind, soils, electricity, wood crafts, pets, and plants.

Some other activities that the Cloverbuds participate in include:

  • County Fair Projects-not eligible for premiums, but receive participation ribbons.
  • Crafts that follow holidays.
  • Honors our Heroes-Christmas Cards & Veterans Day.
  • Leadership at the Annual Banquet.
  • Citizenship-Veterans; National Shriners; Kentucky & US Leaders.
  • Food & Nutrition.
